Charlene Yde

Regional Vice President

As regional vice president, Yde provides leadership for the east coast region of The Paradies Shops business.

Yde graduated from Ohio University and started her career in the retail industry with posts at Lazarus Department Stores and J.C. Penney Company.  Capitalizing on her experience in the retail environment, Yde joined The Paradies Shops in 1981 as a merchandise manager for The Paradies Shops' Atlanta airport location retail shops.

In 1984, Yde was promoted to general manager of the Atlanta airport operation with the responsibility of overseeing 13 gift shops and 10 Country Stores. She continued to work her way up in the company, earning a promotion to her current role in 1996.
