John Cugasi

Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning and Business Development

Cugasi, a highly experienced professional in the travel retail and shared services industries joined Paradies in 2011 from Caruso Affiliated, a leading Los Angeles-based retail and real estate development company where he served as Vice President of Airports. Prior to joining Caruso, Cugasi served as the Director of Concessions at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. In this role, Cugasi was responsible for the day-to-day management of the airport's concessions program and was an essential member of the team that worked to redesign Hartsfield's retail and food and beverage operations, which included over 250 properties generating more than $700M in gross revenues. Cugasi's work has been recognized consistently within the industry, including Airports Council International's "Concessions Industry Person of the Year" and "Best Convenience Program" in 2009. In addition, under the leadership of Cugasi, the concessions team at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport was the recipient of Airport Revenue News' "Best Management Team" in 2009.
