Presidential Winner Heinrike Tremblay goes the extra mile, every day.
To Heinrike Tremblay, every problem is an opportunity to make someone happy.
Heinrike is in charge of the evening shift at The Paradies Shops location at Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers. She gives rides to employees with car trouble. If a uniform doesn’t fit properly, she’ll take it to be altered. She’s been known to call employees to make sure they’ve made it home safely, as well as to check up on them when they’re sick.
Heinrike shows the same caring and compassion to customers.
She goes out of her way to entertain children who come into the store. Fluent in French and German and proficient in other languages, Heinrike works to communicate with any customer who is not well versed in English. She mails lost items back to their rightful owners, returns wallets and credit cards and never hesitates to track down merchandise at other locations.
Because Heinrike works hard to make a difference in the lives of employees and travelers, The Paradies Shops honored her with the 2005 Presidential Leadership Award, the company’s highest form of recognition.
In her 10 years with The Paradies Shops, Heinrike Tremblay has touched many people’s lives. And she continues to do so every day.
