Cathy Gloria, a Senior Team Leader, excels in all facets of her job performance, clearly exhibiting our TRIFIC core values each and every day. Her story illustrates her understanding and support of our Mission Statement and earned her the First Class Associate of the Month award for March 2007.
Cathy was contacted by customer from Ireland, who received a Phoenix Suns tee shirt, which was purchased at a Paradies store. The tee shirt, a men’s XL, was meant to be a gift for his son, who “…is but a wee boy!” He asked Cathy if he could mail it back and exchange it for a large youth tee. She then instructed him to mail it back, but discovered later that we did not have the youth size in stock.
Not wanting to disappoint the young lad, Cathy hunted down the tee shirt, finding it at a local sports store near her home. She bought the tee shirt and sent it off to Ireland. Needless to say, our customer was extremely happy to receive the replacement shirt for his son. Our customer, who lives in beautiful Ireland, now has a “connection” with the Paradies Shops in Phoenix and even e-mailed Cathy a picture of his son wearing his new Phoenix Suns tee shirt!
Cathy’s unselfish efforts to satisfy this customer rings true with the spirit of our Mission Statement, which asks of us to “…maintain First Class Standards that exceed the expectations of the customers and business partners we serve.”
