Greg Turner Shows First Class Form at the PGA TOUR Shop
One day in May 2008, a traveler was experiencing severe traveling
delays while in the Cincinnati /Northern Kentucky International
Airport. With ample time before his next flight, he decided to venture
in to the PGA TOUR Shop where he met one of our First Class Associates,
Greg Turner.
In speaking with Greg, the customer was amazed at the fantastic
knowledge and effort that Greg provided: “He knew the product like
the back of his hand and was the first compassionate person I had
talked to all day. After dealing with the gate agents to re-route
my flight, this was a much needed breath of fresh air.”
After purchasing a few items, the customer asked Greg if he had
any suggestions to pass the time before his next flight, which was
now six hours later. A local golf course was only a few miles way,
so Greg suggested the customer could play a quick round – except
the customer did not have his golf clubs. Fortunately, Greg had
a cousin that worked at the golf course, and he was able to set
up a tee time and secure a set of clubs for the traveler, who was
able to play nine holes before his flight!
When the customer returned later that day for his flight, he was
not able to thank Greg, but said “With the service Greg gave me,
I felt like I was the most valuable customer the store ever had.
This was truly a great experience and you know you have a customer
for life!”
