Celebrating his 11th year with The Paradies Shops, Bijay Kumar is our 2009 Presidential Award recipient. As Senior Team Lead for the Terminal B operation at Sacramento International Airport, Bijay has continually developed a great sense of general operation of the business and is always ready to maximize sales in the stores while being awarded First Class Associate of the Month multiple times.
Never calling out sick in his 11 years, Bijay travels to the main warehouse daily, located a half-mile away in Terminal A. Taking his rolling cart, he pulls stock for the 4 stores in Terminal B, making sure that no sales opportunities are missed. It’s this commitment to The Paradies Shops that inspires the associates, encouraging the feeling of family culture that is very much evident in the location. Bijay has been a significant contributor towards Sacramento winning the “Best Place to Work” award in 2008.
