Kim Dinh, Senior Team Lead of Human Resources in Orange County, is a true hero. Another team lead in her location had been complaining of uncomfortable pain in his stomach for several days, thinking it was nothing more than food poisoning. Worried about her friend, Kim recommended he see a doctor, and even took him to the appointment herself. Once there, it turned out the situation was more severe than originally thought. The doctor immediately sent the associate and Kim to the emergency room, where they waited for four hours until he was admitted. Covering the associate’s shift the next day, Kim and the rest of the team were notified that due to her quick thinking and compassion, she saved her friend’s life by making sure he got to the hospital.
