Maria Gomez has worked her way to respected Senior Team Leader of the Houston team because of her First Class attitude and exceptional leadership skills. Maria encountered a passenger who was quite anxious, and rightfully so, given she missed her flight to San Antonio-the last one of the day, and to make matters worse, she spoke very little English and had no money nor a phone to contact family. After taking time to converse with the traveler in Spanish and put her at ease, Maria drove her to the local bus station and purchased the ticket that would ultimately get the tired traveler home safely. Maria’s actions truly went above and beyond what the passenger expected, exemplifying our Core Values.
